Did you ever race with your friends when you were a kid? I sure did. We raced on foot; on bikes and on go carts. We didn’t have an official with a gun to shoot a blank to get us off the starting line. All we did was fix our eyes on the goal line – inch our way to the starting line and then when everything was just right someone would shout, “GO” and off we would go. Then with our hearts racing and our eyes fixed on the goal line we would use every once of strength to be the first across the line.
At EBC we have watched the Lord take a group of devoted believers and prepare them for something big. It began with P4. The direction from the Lord to put feet to our idea of ministry has been amazing! Over the past months the local Body of Jesus has accomplished almost 30 areas of ministry to the community! 30!! How did it happen? God said, “get on your mark – get set – go”.
The next step is about to take place late this summer and early fall. God is clearly given vision and direction toward EBC doing outreach that will prove to be the largest; most intensive in our history. The Ministry Development Team continues to meet and plan as we are seeing our goal and as we prepare to finalize exactly what God is leading us to accomplish.
I can hardly wait to share more with you as the weeks pass by. I believe once we get off the starting line your life and the lives of hundreds will never be the same.
So –get on your mark – get set…..
