We are glad to have people from all walks of life join with us for Sunday worship experience at Crosspointe. To make it as simple and comfortable as possible, we’ve written this guide for our guests to know what to expect and the details of when and where we meet.We are so glad that you are considering being our guest at Crosspointe.  At Crosspointe you will find a family of believers from all walks of life united in our faith in Jesus and the salvation He freely offers. When you arrive as guests, expect to see mostly casually dressed individuals and a lot of smiling faces. We look forward to our time together on Sunday morning. We know that you have had a stressful week and we don’t want church to add to that stress, but instead be a place where you can feel safe and comfortable.

We open the doors to our facility at 9:15am on Sunday.  Expect a laid back atmosphere with coffee and snacks available from the 9:29 Cafe.

We begin our large group worship time at 10:15am AM. We have a worship band of talented young artists who use their gifts to lead us in an intimate time of prayer and praise to God. Our pastor Scott Bates shares God’s message with us, which you can find samples of previous sermons online. Our service ends around 11:15AM but we encourage everyone to stick around and hang out for a while after service. This is our time to really chat it up and encourage each other with a kind word. The 9:29 Cafe stays open until 11:59AM but you are welcome to stay past that point and we encourage people who are free to do so, to go and enjoy lunch together.

Opportunities For Children

If you come to the early morning bible study you will have the opportunity to check your children in with a supervising adult where they can hang out in the recreation wing where there is a morning video study for kids and age appropriate toys. Children under 3 years of age can visit our nursery where they will be loved on by a fully qualified grandma. During the worship service, children ages 3 through the 3rd grade are encouraged to attend our children’s church where they will have activities and lessons appropriate for their age. Apart from the very young children we encourage worshiping together as a family. We have mid-week activities for youth and once a month we try to coordinate family friendly outings. Our ministry is family focused to bring families closer together through worship and ministry. We know family time is already divided up throughout the week between school and activities, so we try to keep our families together for Sunday worship. We believe the best discipleship a child can receive is through the family and our goal is to equip parents to feel confident in their faith and to be able to offer that to their children.

Children’s Team workers are cleared with a background check and references. We make child safety and wellbeing our top priority. All children are checked in and checked out through one location. The adult who checks a child in must be the adult who checks them out. Siblings can not check children out of children’s church.
